The Founding Alliance Forces (FAF) continue their humanitarian efforts by conducting evacuation operations for citizens arriving from the city of El Fasher and the surrounding camps in North Darfur State, in response to the grave security and humanitarian conditions in the region.
Over the past six days, thanks to the RSF’s one-side local truce ,the Founding Alliance Forces which comprise the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), the Sudan Liberation Movement–Transitional Council (SLM/A-TC), and the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance (SLA) have evacuated more than 8,500 families to safer zones. Evacuation destinations have included Tawila area, Korma, and several nearby villages. The evacuation process continues at an accelerating pace, with delegations arriving successively at designated reception and accommodation sites.
The basic needs of the displaced persons have been provided, including access to drinking water and food, as part of ongoing efforts to protect civilians and alleviate their suffering.
We reiterate our firm commitment to our national and humanitarian responsibilities toward our people, and we call upon all concerned parties to support these efforts and join hands in protecting civilians and shielding them from the cycle of armed conflict.
The Founding Alliance Forces affirm that they will spare no effort to protect civilians and will move forward alongside the honorable Sudanese people in rebuilding Sudan on just foundations that uphold the rights of citizens and safeguard their fundamental freedoms.
