مأساة إنسانية حقيقية في مدينة الفاشر:
وفاة أطفال اليوم بسبب الجوع والحصار
رسالة مفتوحة لمساعد الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية ومنسق الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ، مارتن غريفيث
السيد/ مارتن غريفيث،
نناشدكم اليوم بقلق بالغ بسبب التدهور الحاد فى الأوضاع الانسانية، نحن نشهد كارثة إنسانية حقيقية في مدينة الفاشر، حيث فقدت اليوم أطفال أبرياء حياتهم بسبب الجوع وسوء التغذية نتيجة الحصار الذي تفرضه قوات الدعم السريع على المدنيين.
هذه المأساة ليست فقط عارًا على المجتمع الدولي، بل هي أيضًا فشل ذريع للمنظمات ووكالات الأمم المتحدة العاملة في المجال الإنساني التى فشلت فى التفاوض والضغط وادخال المساعدات الإنسانية للمدنيين
نطالبكم بالعمل الفوري لضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية والتحرك العاجل للمجتمع الدولي بضرورة وقف هذه المأساة وإنقاذ حياة آلاف المدنيين من أطفال ونساء وكبار السن وأشخاص ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة. يجب أن نعمل جميعًا لضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المحتاجين، ورفع الحصار عن مدينة الفاشر وتطبيق قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 2736 برفع الحصار عن المواطنين
نؤكد لكم أن هذا النداء ليس سياسيا، بل هو نداء إنساني بحت. نحن نطالب بتحرك عاجل لإنقاذ حياة الأطفال والمدنيين فى الفاشر
كما نعبر عن خالص تعازينا إلى أمهات وأسر هذه الاطفال، ونؤكد لهم أننا لن ننسى أبدًا تضحيات أبنائهم. سنعمل بكل ما في وسعنا لضمان الحفاظ على حياة من هم على قيد الحياه.
نقدر لكم جهودكم فى مجال العمل الانساني، ونثق فى أنكم ستتحركون بسرعة لوقف هذه المأساة وحماية المدنيين
اللهم ارحم الضحايا واشف الجرحى وألهم أهلهم وذويهم الصبر والثبات

A Humanitarian Tragedy in Al-Fashir: Children Dying from Hunger and Siege
Dear Mr. Griffiths,
We write to you today with deep concern over the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in the city of Al-Fashir, North Darfur. We are witnessing a genuine humanitarian catastrophe, as innocent children have lost their lives today due to hunger and malnutrition resulting from the siege imposed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on civilians.
This tragedy is not only a stain on the conscience of the international community but also represents a grave failure of the humanitarian organizations and United Nations agencies that have so far been unable to negotiate, exert sufficient pressure, or ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected civilians.
We call upon your esteemed office to take immediate and decisive action to:
• Guarantee the safe and unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance;
• Mobilize the international community to stop this ongoing tragedy; and
• Implement United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2736, which calls for lifting the blockade on civilians in Al-Fashir.
Thousands of civilians — including children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities — remain at risk. We must all act with urgency and humanity to ensure the delivery of life-saving aid and to end the siege on this historic city.
We emphasize that this appeal is purely humanitarian and non-political. It is a plea to save lives and restore dignity to the civilians of Al-Fashir.
We extend our deepest condolences to the mothers and families of the children who have perished, and we assure them that their sacrifices will never be forgotten. We pledge to continue working tirelessly to protect those who remain alive and in need.
We sincerely appreciate your tireless efforts in the field of humanitarian work and express our confidence that you will act swiftly to halt this tragedy and protect civilians.
May God have mercy on the victims, heal the wounded, and grant patience and strength to their families.
