Statement on the Bolol Tambisko massacre committed by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) operating under the Islamic Movement
Today, Thursday, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) operating under the terrorist Islamic Movement carried out a heinous massacre using Turkish-made “Akinci” drones, which directly targeted civilians, resulted in the killing of more than 83 citizens in a village near the Bolol Tambisko area, west of Nyala in South Darfur State, while they were gathered at a social event.
The Sudan Founding Alliance strongly condemns this barbaric attack, stressing that the deliberate targeting of civilians is part of a systematic plan of genocide and ethnic cleansing plot being committed by this so-called “terrorist SAF,” led by the racist Port Sudan clique, against civilian communities in areas completely devoid of any military presence of our forces.
We call upon the international community, regional organizations, and human rights agencies to condemn these horrific massacres being committed against innocent people in Darfur that constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions. We further urge all independent and fair media outlets to shed light on this atrocity.
We also hold Baykar Company, which is majority controlled by the Bayraktar family, fully responsible for the spilling of these innocent lives particularly its CEO Lütfü Haluk Bayraktar and its Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar.
We declare our determination to pursue legal action against Baykar in all regional and international courts, hold accountable those responsible for these massacres, and recover the rights of the Sudanese civilian victims.
