Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS)

Statement Welcoming the International Criminal Court’s sentence of Ali Kosheib and calling for the extradition of the remaining defendants.

The Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS) welcomes the International Criminal Court’s sentence to convict the criminal Ali Kosheib of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Darfur war that broke out in 2003, which was ignited by the same regime that ignited the war of April 15, 2023, and the same regime that fueled the war in South Sudan deceiving Sudanese by naming it a religious war and ended up dividing the country, as well as fueling Darfur war in racial basis and working up to now to divide the country more.

This Muslim brotherhood/Dissolved NCP’s apartheid regime and its terrorist army ignited and continues to fuel the war of April 15 and has sabotaged all peace platforms since its inception. Therefore, it must be confronted at the popular, regional, and international levels.

The regional and international community must also work to ensure that the rest of those wanted by the International Criminal Court are handed over to the court, in fact they are now protected by SAF in SAF’s control area in defiance of the revolution of the Sudanese people and their wishes in December 2018.

We also call for the inclusion of all those involved in the crime of using chemical weapons in the context of the current April war on international wanted lists, as the use of chemical weapons, whether against civilians or military forces, is classified as a war crime under:
– The 1993 Chemical Weapons Convention.
– The Geneva Conventions
– The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
These agreements criminalize this type of lethal weapon, especially when used in populated areas or against protected persons.

We also commend the extension of the fact finding mission’s mandate for another year and we call on its members to visit the areas of the peace government. We declare our full cooperation with the mission to uncover the facts and call on it not to rely on reports submitted to it by biased parties that are not present on the ground. Instead, we call on it to visit all areas of Sudan to obtain accurate information, for truth is the first war victim.

We renew our commitment to continue working to achieve justice and law respect , and we affirm our determination to continue liberating Sudan and the Sudanese people from the oppression and injustice of jihadist terrorists groups as the Sudanese people desired in the glorious December revolution and called for freedom, peace and justice.

Dr. Alaa Eldin Awad Nugud
Official Spokesperson for the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS)
