Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS)
Press Release
We have seen in the media a video showing the murder of an unarmed civilian by a gunman wearing a Rapid Support forces uniform.
We in the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS) condemn in the strongest terms all forms of violations committed against civilians and prisoners in this war, and at the same time we emphasize the commitment of the alliance forces to protect civilians and adhere to international humanitarian law and relevant international conventions as its one of the supra constitutional principles that is stated in Sudan Transitional constitution 2025.
We are working with the alliance forces on various fronts to ensure adherence to prisoner protection laws, and we confirm our continued daily efforts to counter the Port Sudan group i.e Muslim brotherhood /NCP terrorists army, troops and their allies attempts to fan the flames of racism and fuel hatred between Sudanese civilians and military personnel by targeting unarmed civilians and categorizing them as social incubators for the alliance forces.
We also appreciate the RSF’s stated statement and efforts on this incident, which affirmed its categorical rejection of any behavior that contradicts military and ethical values, and its immediate initiation of verification and investigation procedures, with a pledge to strict accountability if the perpetrator is proven to be a member of its forces.
The course of this war and the accompanying violations have proven that the only party benefiting from atrocities is the Islamic Movement, NCP and it’s army, terrorist militias and their allies, as they seek to legitimize their war crime by calling it a “war of dignity,” while in reality it is a war for the dignity of the Islamic Movement, not the dignity of Sudan or Sudanese, which is what the Port Sudan group seeks to promote and deceive people with.
We in the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS) affirm our commitment to condemn all war violations and our firm commitment to protecting civilians and preserving the unity of Sudan’s land and people.
